Not Home Yet

Wow, we've been up since 4:30 (Idaho time) - it was 6:30 in Mass. when we woke up though so not sure if that counts. Our flight gets in at 10:10 tonight and we are TIRED! I took a ton of photos and thought I'd upload one more while I'm sitting here in the Vegas Airport waiting for the last plane home.
The Salem Cemetery - all I have to say is amazing.

Packing

Tonight I'm packing. Justin and I are headed out to Boston tomorrow...
We will be selling lots of scrapbooks (buy your own here) and doing a fair amount of sight seeing. I'm also excited to go to Salem - yay! I will be taking several scrapbook classes while I'm there so prepare for lots of scrap talk when I get back.

Now, because I feel that it is totally worth mentioning... Twilight came out on DVD (and if you don't know this you may not be able to be my friend anymore). Don't worry, I got my own copy and here is a crappy photo taken with my cell phone to prove it.

I've already watched it several times. I got the groovy one from Target that came with a free iTunes download so it is even on the laptop & iPod now. I am so complete :)

I ♥ This Guy

My 14th anniversary was on the 18th. Wow - 14 years married?! Who would of guessed (well, we would of!). Here's some pictures of us circa my senior prom & high school graduation, it was a long, long time ago ;).

Oh my gosh - were we really that young...
what would I tell these kids?
that it won't always be easy but it's totally worth it
you really can love each other more than you do at this moment
work together
talk
remember who you are
you guys are worth the effort
you will make some amazing children
you will last

The Last Two Days

Here they are, the last two days of the visit. Tuesday we hung out at the house sewing, baking and visiting then we had a great good bye dinner at Red Robin (thanks Angel). After dinner we were off to Lexi's clogging recital. It was great, the boys totally enjoyed watching a dressed up Lexi perform. Wednesday was our good bye day - so sad to have to tell them goodbye and it seemed like they hadn't stayed long enough! As you can tell, the visit was very picture intense! We have to make up for all those lost days by taking hundreds and hundreds of photos!

Now, my first uploaded video - I took this of Lexi's dance (sorry for the shaky videography!)

Krispy Kreme & Planet Kid

Also known as, Day 5 photos...
What a busy day! First thing in the morning we headed off to breakfast at Krispy Kreme. This is kind of a tradition for when Angel & Aidan come to visit. It was so cool to see all the kids eating and playing - we were a little bummed because we got there too late to see the doughnuts being made but it was still a blast. Then we were off to Planet Kid for hours of jungle gym fun. The kids were so tired by the time we left there!

Phoenix Visitors

Day 1 and 2 shots

We were so excited for Angel, Aidan and Elliot to come and visit us here in Idaho! Riley tells me all the time that he misses his best friend Aidan and I just was dying having not met Elliot yet! They came in around lunchtime on Thursday so we just visited and hung out at the house for the first day. Then headed off to the mall with the Fogle's for our grand Friday plan.

Day 3 and 4 shots
On Saturday Angel, Elliot and I snuck away for some Starbucks girlfriend time! We used to spend a lot of time talking and drinking frappuccino's in Phoenix. We brought Elliot along but the boys hung out at the house and played legos all day. Sunday we celebrated Preston's third birthday. I'm so glad that all the kids could be together for the party, there was lots of playing and giggling going on. It even snowed for a little bit and the kids jumped on the trampoline in the snow.

Obsessed

So I have a few things that I am obsessed with and feel the need to share.
First there is paper
Second there is fabric
Third is Twilight.
This is the most recent of my obsessions. I've been living with the others for many years now and everyone around me is used to them. This new one is still taking my family and friends a little time to get used to. I mention something Twilight related at least once a day and Justin didn't think that my joke of Edward watching us sleep was as hilarious as I did. (Seriously, if you were walking by the life-sized Edward cardboard cutout you would say "Let's buy that so I can put it next to the bed and he can watch me sleep" too.) Everyone should read the Twilight books and then become crazy like me. This crazy includes listening to Twilight podcasts and checking up on Twilight blogs and websites regularly. Not to mention seeing the movie, reading the books and maybe...just maybe going to the midnight DVD release. Only if I can convince Kolbi to go with me and pretend like she's into Twilight and I'm just a super cool but not a crazy Twilight obsessed mom. Anyway If you want to be like me you should check out one of my favorite blogs Confessions of a TwiCrack Addict it's one of my favorite reads. Feel free to comment about how not crazy my love of Twilight is ;)

WOW

I've got a lot of catching up to do. I'm making an effort to keep things in order so before I jump to Angel's Idaho visit and my trip to Pocatello (clogging nationals of course people) here are some things that I should of posted two weeks ago.

I finished that apron...

It's adorable huh?! (so is the model) I love, love, love that cherry fabric and doesn't it look familiar???
It's a scrapbook! We sell these here and I chose this fabric because as mentioned above, I love, love, love it. I think I need an 8x8 scrapbook for my recipes to match my apron and then maybe make some matching oven mitts! CUTE!

Then we had a Mardi Gras party for the kids. We made purple and green cupcakes and they ran around with beaded necklaces and masks on. We had sooo much fun that I must have forgotten to take very many pictures. This is pretty much the only one that turned out good. Nichole & the girls (in case you couldn't tell with the masks on ha-ha)
So that's the end of the catch-up. On to Angel coming to visit us from Phx!! She was here a whole week with Aidan and baby Elliot we had a blast. I've still got to organize the photos so I will post about the visit soon.
